ZF does not rebuild components. We remanufacture them. There is a
difference.
All ZF Parts remanufactured units are completely disassembled, cleaned,
inspected, updated to the latest ZF factory specifications, and tested
according to the same protocol as new production units to ensure "like new"
operation and durability. ZF Parts torque converters go through this same
process, along with being balanced and leak-tested, to meet the original
factory specifications of ZF Sachs. Every ZF Part is designed to exact
specifications and tolerances for greater productivity and versatility. If
any units or components fail to meet these standards,Then they are replaced.
Incomplete testing procedures, incorrect parts usage, or improper unit
reassembly can lead to severe parts damage, unit failure and/or vehicle
downtime. Our total compliance to this process is also reflected in our ISO
9000 Certification.
Some rebuilders just take apart the failed component, fix what is broken,
and then it is reassembled. Some of these products may even be supplied with
the ZF logo, but they are neither original nor Genuine ZF Parts. Protect
